LIFE PLAN COMMUNITY FOR SENIORS IN SIMSBURY, CT

Peace of Mind Today and Tomorrow

Of all the great benefits our dynamic senior living community in Simsbury, Connecticut provides, there’s none more comforting than knowing we’re a premier Life Plan Community (also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community or CCRC).

That means you’ll always have priority access to a full continuum of quality health care right here on our beautiful, unspoiled campus if you ever need it – without financial surprises.

As needs change, residents can move seamlessly between Independent Living and Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Short-term Rehab, Home Care and Hospice services. You’ll remain in familiar surroundings, close to friends and caregivers whom you’ve come to know and trust, all under one roof.

You and your family will enjoy the confidence of lifelong security.

Entrance Fee Plans

Moving to McLean provides you with security and peace of mind knowing that the what-ifs of the future are taken care of. We offer contract options that include a partially refundable entrance fee once residency has ended, allowing you to live an exceptional lifestyle while also preserving your estate.

STANDARD DECLINING REFUND

The entrance fee is refundable to the resident or resident’s estate on a declining basis over a 50-month period. The entrance fee is amortized at a rate of 2% per month for the first 50 months of occupancy. After 50 months, residents may continue to receive all the rights and benefits of residency with payment of the ongoing monthly service fees; however, there is no refund of the entrance fee remaining.

50% REFUNDABLE

The entrance fee is refundable to the resident or resident’s estate and a deduction of 2% per month for the first 25 months of residency. The refund is never less than 50% of the original entrance fee paid upon occupancy.*

85% REFUNDABLE

The entrance fee is refundable to the resident or resident’s estate with a deduction of 2% per month for the first 7months of residency. The refund is never less than 85% of the original entrance fee paid upon occupancy.*

* The remaining refundable portion of the entrance fee due to the resident can be applied to the cost of care in the on-site Assisted Living neighborhood or Health Care Center or to the estate, according to the refund provisions outlined in the Agreement.
